Juhi Chawla has reasons to smile that magnetic pearly. Her forthcoming Punjabi film ‘Waaris Shah-Ishq Daa Waaris’, co-starring Gurdas Maan and Divya Dutta has been chosen for the Berlin Film Festival (Asia Pacific 2006). It is the only entry in this category.

After ‘Bas Ek Pal’ a film based on urban relationships, Juhi is starring in a period film which is based on the life of Waris Shah, the legendary sufi saint who wrote the timeless love story ‘Heer Ranjha’. This film is directed by Manoj Punj and Juhi is very excited about her role in the film.
